Elijah's First Bottle

Elijah decided to do things his way before we left the house to see Santa. I nursed him before leaving and while I got things together to leave he proceeded to pitch a fit about being hungry. I thought "well, now is as good a time as any to try him out on the bottle." Brent thawed out some breastmilk & I quickly boiled a bottle. Elijah & his Daddy got settled into their respective spots in the recliner and Elijah went to town on his first bottle. No worries about him not taking the bottle when I go back to work...he is a pro with the bottle! I was a bit worried about him going back to the breast without a problem, but he has done perfectly with both! We are so blessed! Below is a picture of Elijah & Daddy's first bottle together. What a great bonding time. Since then, there have be a few bottles with Daddy. They have their own routine & it works well for both of them. HAPPY BONDING!!!
