Elijah's new puppy!

I'm going to post Oliver's cuteness here on Elijah's blog. Below are a few pictures of Ollie's first 24 hours at home. His flight was great. He was a little scared to come out of the kennel but took to Brent in just a few minutes. He slept all night in his kennel without crying. Woke us up around 7:15 a.m. ready to go outside.

He has nipped Elijah and broken the skin twice today. Definitely something we have to get under control...but we knew that this would be an issue going into this breed. It's a natural trait of the OES.

Took Oliver to the vet today. Dr. White seemed excited to examine Ollie. He has never taken care of this breed but was very impressed with his exam. Dr. White's words: "This is a great puppy!" :) We will return to see Dr. White in 10 days for Oliver's second set of shots, microchipping & to start up his heartworm prevention.
